Can Hero Dial call 911 by accident?+
No. Hero Dial is a website that can't use your phone line. Every call is pretend and stays on the screen, even when your child dials 9-1-1.
What ages is it for?+
Most families start at around 4 to 8 years old. That's when kids can learn a number and are starting to pick up a phone.
Do I have to install anything?+
No. It works in Safari or Chrome. For the most realistic practice, add it to your Home Screen. It then opens full screen like a real app.
What does the AI plan add?+
With the AI plan, a practice helper answers the call and talks back, so kids can rehearse what to say. You have to turn it on and accept a disclosure, and there's a monthly limit. Calls are not recorded unless you opt in.
What information do you keep?+
Your email, the practice numbers you add, practice progress, and subscription status. We don't create child accounts and we don't ask for your child's name.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. You can manage or cancel the AI plan from Billing in parent settings. Free practice stays free.
